Kait grew up just a block from Lake Huron in Bright’s Grove, Ontario, Canada, attending the only public school in North America situated on lakefront property. Summers were spent working as a lifeguard and swim instructor, with several seasons at CQE on Beausoleil Island in Muskoka and the Goderich YMCA. These early experiences sparked her fascination with leadership and high-performing teams.
Kait holds a BSc in Psychology Research and Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. In 2010, she moved to the U.S. to pursue an MBA at Grand Canyon University and had the brief opportunity to work with The Ken Blanchard Companies. Her career took off in the advertising industry, where she spent five years as CFO of Pinnacle Advertising, a national full-service ad agency. Before Pinnacle, she was with RealWorld Marketing, leading efforts to increase enterprise value, culminating in the company’s sale to Pinnacle Advertising in 2020. Kait’s career began in venture-backed SaaS, which fueled her passion for innovative, high-growth, and fast-paced companies, and established the rigorous accounting and finance standards she upholds today.
